Respond to a Schedule Approval Request

When a scheduler confirms the schedule approval request, LiveIQ sends an email to all users who have permission to approve schedules for the restaurant. The email identifies the restaurant and the week commencing date for the schedule. The email also includes a link to the appropriate schedule displayed on the Schedule Approval screen.

You can access the Schedule Approval screen in the following ways:

  • Click the link in the email that notifies you about the approval request for a schedule.

  • Click the Schedule Approvals icon on the Unread Items panel at the top-right corner of the LiveIQ screen. The number of requests for schedule approvals appears next to the icon.

  • Click Scheduling and then click Schedule Approvals.

Use the Pending Schedule Approvals Table

The Pending Schedule Approvals table lists all the restaurants within your organization where you can approve schedules. The list includes information that identifies the restaurant, the date, the status, and the person who requested approval of the schedule. The table also includes the Action column that displays the icons for each action that you can take (approve without comments, approve with comments, and reject).

By default, the schedules are sorted by the Week Commencing date and then by the Store Number. However, you can sort the schedules in a different way if you wish. You can also use the filters in each column to limit the results displayed on the screen.

When you select a schedule, LiveIQ displays the metrics table. This table displays the estimated values for each day of the week; it does not display actual values. A simple version of the schedule also appears below the metrics table.

Access a Schedule for Review

  1. Use any of the three methods listed above to select the schedule that you want to review.
